Enter your tool diameter and cutting speed (or pick a material preset) to calculate the recommended spindle speed. Feed rate estimate assumes a 2-flute tool at 0.05 mm/tooth per revolution — adjust for your tooling.

Formulas
Spindle speed (RPM):
RPM = (Vc × 1000) ÷ (π × D)
Vc in m/min, D in mm
Feed rate (mm/min):
Feed = RPM × fz × z
fz = chip load per tooth (mm/tooth), z = number of flutes
Example: 10 mm end mill, 30 m/min → RPM = (30 × 1000) ÷ (π × 10) = 955 RPM. With fz = 0.05 mm/tooth, 2 flutes: Feed = 955 × 0.05 × 2 = 95 mm/min.
