This Privacy Policy explains what data the siberian-apps.de website and the Android app "Thread Reference" (Google Play id com.kota.handbooklocksmith) collect, and how that data is used.
Data on siberian-apps.de
The website uses Google Analytics (GA4) and Yandex Metrica to analyze traffic. These may collect:
- your IP address and approximate location;
- device, browser, and operating system type;
- pages you visit and links you click (including clicks on the "Google Play" button);
- cookies and session identifiers.
Yandex Metrica also uses Webvisor to record on-page behavior (scrolling, clicks) in an aggregated, non-identifying form. The website does not ask you for personal information (name, email, phone) and requires no registration.
Data in the "Thread Reference" app
The app is an offline reference tool for thread sizing that works without an account. It is free and shows ads through Google AdMob and AdMob's partner ad networks. To serve and personalize ads, these networks may collect:
- your device's advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID);
- general technical device data (model, OS version, language, approximate IP-based location);
- interaction data with ad units (impressions, clicks).
The app does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, files, or location, and does not collect this data itself. All reference tables and settings are stored locally on your device.
Opting out of ad personalization
You can limit use of your advertising identifier in Android settings: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization, or reset your advertising identifier from the same screen.
Children
The app and website are not directed at children under 13 and do not knowingly collect data from children.
Your rights
You may request information about, or deletion of, data we control (website analytics) by emailing siberian.apps@gmail.com. Data collected by Google and Yandex as independent data controllers is governed by their own policies:
